  1. Using a Three Period Lesson, teach the names of the total figures, starting with the hexagon, and reviewing the shapes the child knows from the previous boxes.
  2. Later, teach the individual parts that make up the figures.
    • The hexagon is made up of one equilateral triangle, and three obtuse angled isosceles triangles.
    • The equilateral triangle is made up of three obtuse angled isosceles triangles.
    • The parallelogram is made up of two obtuse angled isosceles triangles also.
