Presentation – Shaking Hands

  1. Walk toward person with composure and head up.
  2. Stop at a courteous distance with feet together.
  3. Look at the person in the eyes.
  4. Extend right hand.
  5. Clasp the offered hand.
  6. Shake hands firmly saying, “Good morning.” Smile pleasantly.
  7. When addressing a child, get down to his/her level.
